We live in a world that has many problems that oftentimes does not take into consideration what is morally right when it comes to the treatment of all people regardless of their race, socio-economical condition, and gender preferences. We as social workers respect and value the lives of the individuals and their families that come to us seeking help with their problems. Many of us enter this field because we want to help and advocate for those who need mental health and substance abuse treatment in our society.
