  • Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities - The Division of Behavioral Health manages programs and services delivered by DBHDD’s community-based behavioral health providers, which are divided into three tiers:


TIER 1: Comprehensive Community Providers are DBHDD’s community service boards, which serve as the public safety net and offer a core benefit package, as well as additional specialty services.


TIER 2: Community Medicaid Providers ensure choice for individuals receiving Medicaid and offer a core benefit package.


TIER 3: Specialty Providers offer an array of specialty treatment and support needed in the continuum of care.

  • Community Mental Health Agencies - Community-based outpatient facilities that offer individual, group, conjoint and family counseling, therapy groups, medication and other mental health services for community residents, especially those who are indigent, who have acute or chronic psychiatric disorders or who may be experiencing difficulty resolving personal or interpersonal conflicts or making personal adjustments to stressful life situations such as separation, divorce, loss of a spouse or a child, poor health, unemployment, family violence, delinquency or substance abuse.   • Georgia Department of Community Affairs- Sponsored by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, provides detailed information about rental properties and helps people find housing to best fit their needs. The service can be accessed at no cost online 24 hours a day or through a toll-free, bilingual call center at 1-877-428-8844, available M-F, 9:00 am - 8:00 pm EST.


The fast, easy-to-use FREE search lets people look for rental housing using a wide variety of criteria and special mapping features. Housing listings display detailed information about each unit. The service also provides links to housing resources and helpful tools for renters such as an affordability calculator, rental checklist, and information about renter rights and responsibilities.


Property owners and managers, including Housing Authorities and private landlords, can use this service to manage their property listings FREE of charge. Listings can include pictures, maps, and information about nearby amenities. Property owners and housing authorities can register and manage their listings online or via phone and fax.
