About This Training

Goals/Objectives

  • Define and explain the definitions of cultural diversity, cultural competence, and other terms related to racial inequality. Cultural Diversity Quiz-
  • To explain the interrelatedness of cultural competence and ethical decision-making and the significance for health care professionals.
  • To identify ethical challenges and opportunities in treating diverse individuals in treatment/Case Study activity.

Afternoon Session- Cultural Sensitivity Experiential Role Play activities

The afternoon session will focus on case scenarios related to cultural diversity and cultural awareness and how ethics are impacted in treatment settings. The attendees will have 4 to 5 people roleplaying different cases/discussions to strengthen their cultural sensitivity skills in the workplace
